Page 1 of problems with proline2000 player- please help!!

I recently bought Proline2000 dvd player,but it keeps locking up about 10 mins into films and then every few mins after. At first, thought it was cause the disk was a dvd-r, but have tryed it with original region 2 diskand its still locking. Has anyone else had any problems like this, and is there any advice before i throw it up the wall.

Get the latest firmware update cd for the proline 2000 as many of the Proline 2000 players are still on the old (very buggy) firmware.

ok, being dippy girl now, but how would i get this firmware?
will that sort it all out?

Probably need to download it from the internet and burn it to CDR, OR maybe the manufacturer could help out!
