Limit DVD9090

Big P22 (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Monday, 29th July 2002, 11:44

I got one of these from Richer Sounds and DVD playback is fine. However if I try to watch a VCD the a/v sync is out. It can be improved by fast forwarding or rewinding the VCD slightly, but still isn`t perfect. The a/v sync is fine in my DVD drive on my PC. Has anybody else had similar problems?

Cheers,
Paul

Hi,
I also bought the Limit DVD9090 from RicherSounds. I tried around 3 VCDs and also get the same problem. I thought it was my cheap VCDs, but apparently it seems like a common problem.
I used a Scart Lead to Connect to the TV & from the Manual I found out the Scart Connection does not support RGB, only Composite video. Shame about a model that is priced at £200.
(I don`t know how much you payed for yours, but ComputerShopper magazine has a joint offer with RicherSounds for £100 - Even then I thought it was a bit expensive with the only plus being the dolby decorder and I don`t know how good the quality on that is).

By the way who are Limit and have they got a Web presence.
