Page 1 of Pioneer DV656A or Philips DVD763SA / DVD963SA

I`m looking at buying a good dvd player that plays all formats and is also v.good at just being a cd player.

I`ve looked at the Pioneer 656A, which seems favourite at the moment but has anyone looked at or reviewed either the Philips DVD763SA or DVD963SA. If so how do they compare to the Pioneer.

My TV is a Philips pixel plus, so if one of the Philips players is as good it may be a better choice for integration.

Ive got the Pioneer DV646A & its superb with CD`s however, youve got to take into consideration that your amp/receiver & speaker will do most of the work so it might be better upgrading them b4 you change your DVD player
