Looking to buy home theatre system for between £200-£300. Any recommendations?

Am a first time buyer looking to get a multi-regional home theatre system that can play vcd. Best I have seen is a Pioneer HTD-5 from techtronics for £280. Can anyone tell me if it is any good or suggest something else.

Not sure about the Pioneer but Richer Sounds are doing the Aiwa HT-DV90 for £249.99, its multiregion and plays vcd, DD and DTS. Looks nice too. Word of warning, make sure they take the time to test it in store (have a demo or something) because the first one I got didn`t work and the second had a problem with the LFE channel. But besides that, they are great for what they do and at that price you can`t argue.

Cyberhome - RicherSounds - £100
VideoLogic - Argos - £70 approx

Has VCD, DD Decorder, Multi-Region....

Read reviews as VCDHelp etc...

I am happy with mine!
