RE: Is this offer anygood
OK, the JVC AV-28T25S always seems to get very good write ups. Has nicam sound, but if you intend getting an AV amp to take care of the sound then dont worry about the tv doing any of as any amp will be better really.
The tv also has a zero-distortion minimal reflection tube to display the picture which in dvd viewing terms is very good. You prob wont find a more clear and crisp picture from other tv`s.
It has 3 scarts of which one is rgb which will b handy when u plug in a dvd player with a decent scart cable.
All in all the tv is quite top and I think it has even won some awards. However, I cant comment much on the JVC dvd other than JVC dvd players generally arent all that and probably wont be multi region. As for video, I cant help.
If you can get the tv by itself for a good price then do that and buy the dvd seperately - -possibly the toshiba sd220 (but buy from somewhere that stocks pre-chipped so it is multi region on arrival - it will save you money) Also find out if the video and dvd are any good then it may be worth it for the package.
Hope this helps
