Page 1 of Replacement - Warfedale 750s (and remote)

I am in need of another dvd player now and having bought the Warfdale from tesco`s 2 years ago i was/am very happy with it. I am wondering if there are any other players you would recommend like the warfedale 750s for around the £100-£150 mark?

What are the current tesco dvd players like? Dansai?

Oh one last thing anyone know where i can get a replacement remote control for the warfedale 750s?

If your quick you can pick up a Lecson 9000 from Debenhams for £99 (or 10% less if your a card holder during the current sale). This is basically a Wharfedale with a Dolby Digital 5.1 decoder built in. It has the same multi-region hack as the Wharfy 750s and the handset is identical (though a duff colour).

What colour is the lecson 9000? I will see if there is a pic on this site. Damn just realised there isnt a Debenhams in Brum will need to check where nearest one is. Any idea how long the sale is on for?

What about the asda dvd players?

I really need one which will play DVD-r, do any of these?
