Page 1 of i need a really good dvd player that plays everything!!

hi im buying a present soon and im gonna buy them a dvd player but i need a player thats is no higher than £100 cuz thats as high as im gonna go, maybe a bit more though if i have to, i need one that will play, vcds, svcd and screeners, any suggestions? thanks a lot

Just make sure you get two things.

A DVD Player that has a Scart socket, which supports RGB. The picture quality is much better.

If your TV doesn`t have a good sound, then an on-board Dolby Digital 5.1 Decoder is another thing you may regret not having.

Obviously it should play everything, but these two extras are a big plus.

check out amazon.co.uk it has a huge list of dvd players for your needs. I recently got the pioneer dv-350 plays everything at £125 inc p+p. You may as well pay that little bit extra, cos in the end you are gonna want to upgrade anyway, so get an excellent player to begin with so you don`t have to.
