Anyone got any experience of this payer, they sell it in Argos, can only find stuff in German....

I`ve read the German stuff.

The review was great (just take a look at the stars).

But in the Forum some complain about MP3 problems and other technical difficulties (freezing screens etc...) and of course others don`t have any problems at all.

The thing I like the most from this player is that its layer change is perfect in most movies.....

It scored 85 in DVD Shopper, the remote looks like something of futurerama.

The 4200 is a rebadged clone of the Samsung 611, as far as I know. The Sammy handset hack has been reported as working on this player too.

The price in Argos (250 quid!) seems a bit expensive - you can probably get it a lot cheaper elsewhere.

If it were the same as the Samsung 611, then you`d better go for the Samsung (alot cheaper).

BTW then the Samsung 811 should be the same as the Thomson 4500, shouldn`t it??
