Best Budget DVD Player ???????

Arturo (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 18th November 2002, 11:13

I am looking for a budget DVD player which plays all the major media formats, is multi-region and has macrovision disabled.

An added bonus would be Karaoke functionality as this would save me buying my daughter a separate Karaoke machine.

The recent Safeway offer on the Compacks 5.1 DVD player seemed to fit the bill, but as already mentioned in this forum, the offer was withdrawn due to the absence of UK leads.

Have a look at the Ask Westy column, I`ve just been reading it and loads of realy good advice on budget players.

As for the karaoke you can get an in-line microphone connector from CPC or maplins that allows you to sing along.
