How do I play sound from the TV through my dvd sound system??

ginga winga (Harmless) posted this on Monday, 30th December 2002, 19:49

I have a fairly old Grundig GDV520 Home theatre system. I have spent many a rainy day trying to get the stupid thing to play the TV sound through the sound system but I cannot do it. Am I the stupid one?? Any suggestions to how it can be done?? I have the scart lead going from TV to DVD player but there is no direct scart to the sound amp..

any help or suggestions would be grealty received.

thanks

I had problems getting decent sound from my telly. Well, its a Bush so
what can I expect. I solved it by using a multi-scart block, attaching my DVD, Video, and Audio.
I connected my Audio with a scart to 2 line input jacks at the Audio end.

Maybe you can connect a scart in this way to 2 aux jacks on your Grundig!
