Page 1 of High-pitched noise from Television…

Now-and-again my TV makes a high-pitched noise, which is very annoying, so I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on the problem? Taking it back is not an option as the one-year guarantee has expired.

Any help would be much appreciated…

Some components in a TV operate at a high frequency( 15khz) and they can make a high pitched noise, if it`s not to long out of guarantee then they should do it for you .( worth a try}

My Sanyo 28" Widescreen does the same, a soft knock on the top
of the set usually shuts it up for a while, but its really annoying
