Page 1 of Shcnieder SHC-201 overheating

I wondered in anyone has one of these players. I`ve already took one back for overheating and have got another one from ASDA, however this one does seem to get very hot too.
There is a fan built into the back of the player but it doesn`t seem to function.
Has anyone else had this trouble with this player?
Does it kick in at a certain point?
There is a 2inch space above the case for ventilation but it still gets hot and i`m worried its a fire risk!

It is a reasonably good player with speakers for the price £160 it would be a shame to have to swap it again.

I am thinking about buying this Schnieder SHC 201 system. Please let me know if it plays vcd`s and svcd`s. Have looked around and it is difficult to find information on this system.
