Page 1 of Ps2 5.1 system in new argos catalogue

I cant really afford the 200 odd quid for an amp/speaker 5.1 set up so i was thinkin of gettin this and connectin it 2 my Bush 2023 player. Any reason why i shouldnt? Not much power but does it have decoder built in?

The PS2 plays CD`s, but NOT VCD or MP3. It is not multiregion.

Have a look at videologics Digitheater ZXR-500 http://www.videologic.com/Products/Product.asp?Product=VL-60635 its a little bit more money but the performance it gives is worth that extra cash.
