Page 1 of Which DvD player ? Opinions needed

Please, let me first tell you that I feel very lucky because I found your excellent DVD Reviewer web site.

I am a regular visitor to your site for a month now and I decided to be a registered member in order to get some help from other members.

Please, I wish to have your comments on a DVD player I am interested to buy.

I am thinking about the follows players :

- Manhattan SL-1, the Pioneer DVD-656, DVD-550, DVD-454-s and the Philips DVD-612.

Frankly speaking money is not my problem but I wish to know if it is worthin to spend more money on DVD player just to get 10-15% better picture quality.

Unfortunately I couldnt be able to locate any reviews for the above mentioned players and I ask please if somebody knows anything more about these players.

I need a player with natural and well balance colors and I have heard that the the budget priced Philips DVD-612 (Eur.116) offer all that I need plus a lot of more.

Also, I wish to know if the image file v415-45-o-image (2,69 MB) can hack the Philips DVD-612.
