Page 1 of Sony DVP-NS305 MP3 Playing Problems

Does anybody have any problems when playing MP3 CD`s on the Sony DVP-NS305 ?

I have numerous comedy CD`s split into folders. I can scroll through all the folders and look at all the tracks, but once I select one hidden in the depths of a folder, the player just makes funny noises and after ten minutes I get fed up of waiting.

Any ideas, or am I just going to have to copy them all to new CD`s with no Folders.

Can`t help you with an answer but I have the DVP-NS405 and have the exact same problem. I spent a whole evening messing about with it to no success which is why I`m on this forum. I would also like to get this player set up for multi region DVDs.
Can anyone help us?
