videologic dts theatre system or yam rxv596rds with nsp 300 speaker pack both £400 buying today any replys appreciated.

I bought a RXV596rds and have been very pleased with it. Can`t say about the speakers - no experience of them.

I got the amp from www.unbeatable.co.uk.

Their current price is £290.99
The speakers are £138 so I guess you`re getting a good buy for 400 notes

Consider the Sony THK 215 system instead. A real beauty for £250.

I`ve got the RX-V566 and the NS-P300. Bought them from unbeatable before Chrimbo. The system`s not that bad, especially for the money.

I listened to the Sony speakers in a shop and wasn`t impressed.

I`d go for the Yamaha set-up - great VFM!! You`ve aso go the option of upgrading later on...
