Hi im looking for a 2nd dvd player thats multi region mainly to play region 1.
I like the look of the acoustic dvd321 multi region player for £59.95 from richersounds.
Has anyone got any other players they could recommend in that price range or cheaper.

thanks

Check out the Decacolour dvd player, available thrue `Euronics` (indipendant) dealers.
Picture & sound is as good as £150+ players, mine cost £70 dam good deal!
Will play DVD (multi region), vcd, cd,cd-r,cd-rw & kodak picture cd`s!!!!

It`s got to be Pacific 1002 from Asda`s, less than £50 and with a free 3 year warranty.

I would recommend the Pacific DVD 1002 from ASDA as well. It plays everything including miniDVD, MP3, SVCD, VCD and mpeg video files (i.e.not just vcd/svcd mpgs etc but plain mpg data files). It is reported to be Multiregion out of the box, but I have not tried it yet (only had it 2 days). There is remote hack for multiregion if needed. I was gob smacked at the performance of this machine for £49.97 that I pension off my Wharfedale 750. The Pacific DVD 1002 may not be the best looking DVD player but it must be in the cheapest no hassle player currently available in the UK that as an excellent guarantee (3 yrs) and from an establised (going to be there tommorrow) retailer.
