I recently brought a schneider 857 and it played every disk that i threw at it, except for DVD+R, i`ve recently tested the Pacific 1002 and that doesnt play them either.

I`m looking for a decent player that will play all formats, with a region and macrovision hack, this is not essential but a bonus if any.

Any ideas on makes, models, prices and where to buy them from.

Go for the Sony DVPF25, it looks great

Go for a hacked pioneer 656.Plays everything including dvd audio and sacd.
