Can anyone recommend a good 32`` TV?
Can anyone recommend a good 32`` TV? Was going for a Philips but after so much bad press, I am now more hesitant about splashing out £X.

I have Panny and it`s excellent. Very pleased with it:

Goodmans 32" widescreen is £399 and is vey good, you can get at Comet, though if you want the 3 year guarantee instead of the standard one year, it adds about another £100 to the price.
But still good value.

I have got a Matsui and it is not that good, when I play a DVD I can see some wavy pattern going across (by the way can anybody explain me why it does that and if there is any way to get a better picture)
Thanks
JC

Is the pattern a TV one i.e. can you see a ghost tv channel pic? If so it`s the wat theTV handles the scart input (i think) pretty sure my panasonic blanks out the background noise by doing something special. Sorry to not be much help but try another scart socket etc

"when I play a DVD I can see some wavy pattern going across (by the way can anybody explain me why it does that and if there is any way to get a better picture)"
Do you have a VHS video as well, as it may be on the same frequency output as the DVD ie, the tunein frquencies are the same.
This causes interference patterns on the telly.
You can adjust the output frequency up or down on more expensive units at the back, to avoid this happening.
