Page 1 of Schnieder dvd 1003 Price drop

Asda have dropped the price of thier newset schnieder machine to the same sub £50 pound price as the pacific 1002 does anybody know if it will play VCDs and Jpegs. I work in Asda an its quite common for these machine to be held in the back and not on display so they are not sold as quickly as the pacific model so they have back up stock if you want one you will have to ask them for it

not a bad player...better than the pacific 1002.this seems to be the other budget player ASDA are selling..they seem to have taken the 1002 off the shelves(they made a B.r.r.r.r.r.r noise when playing,some of them.
and ASDA are selling this one for the same price(£48.75).
better picture,no problems with the scart socket,and free audio leads and a scart.


This dvd/vcd/picture player is pretty cool.And it is also cheap.I got it at ASDA and im glad i did.The player plays Jpeg pictures in a slideshow.(about 10 secounds per pic)with no problems.
An all round good player.

got This Player from ASDA, and it is really Good. It does everything, i havent put down it does CDRW - but im sure it will.

Everything plays great on it, and the Region Hack thats on this site worked first time.

The Mp3 Menu is alright, but you can only see the first part of the name, the other is cut off...

The only problems i can think of are; you carnt browse though you mp3 songs while playing one.

And it restricts a MP3 DVD to < 230 songs - which is less then half a disk. :-(

There are loads of differnt sound options, vir surround, etc. - but there isnt a built in 5.1 decoder.
