my sony DVP NS330 plays unregionalised dvds from the states in Black & White can any body help ??

Are you using a fully wired Scart lead? If not, try one. It may solve your problem.

also, make sure that the scart output is selected on the setup menue, the TV system might be on NTSC so make sure tht it is set to PAL, and also do this on the player. this should be in the set up menu. :)
