Does anone know if the 857 will play R1 discs on a PAL tv after the R1 Hack ??? 8)

It does but you have to select PAL output in the setup for it to work (It probably is already set to PAL)

When I play R1 DVDs on this player with the setting on PAL, the playback is jerky and out of sync with the audio. When I switch it to NTSC, the playback is fine but the image becomes quite dull (so the colours don`t appear as sharp anymore). Is there any way around this problem?
