Wharfedale DVD 750 - Not?!?!

TopGunn (Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 31st August 2003, 18:37

I have a DVD 750 Wharfedale (silver), bought just over a year ago (from the agents, HI-FI Corporation (they`re a joke) but I can`t find out what/who manufactured it; if it is a clone of another brand (ie Sampo) as the Wharfedale 750(1st & 2nd & 750s) from the Wharfedale website is no way like this one.

Being that I am in South Africa, one can understand some localisation but this is ludicrous - can anyone help?

the serial # on the unit is:

M2-0xxxxxxxxx

It has built-in DTS, etc as well as two microphone inputs with gain controls above them on the left hand side of the display (for Karaoke use), supports MP3/VCD....

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks
:o

So whats the problem you need help with? Clearly this is not the Warfedale 750/750s (excellenent machines but won`t read dvd-r discs!!!) that Tesco in the UK sold some years ago.

My region problem is solved - one R4 disk would not play, but any others would R1/R3, etc. I eventually accessed the regional settings, changed it, played it :)

So as I said, problem sorted
