Page 1 of lenoxx sound ht600 remote control problem

when i watch a video film through my ht600,my awia video remote control can turn the volume up or down by pressing any button.very annoying when you hit rewind or f forward.
any body had the same problem ?

Yeah I experience a similar problem with my TV remote.
Changing channels on the TV turns the volume of the Lenoxx up. :o

The strange thing is that I bought an 8 in 1 remote control (Medion from Aldi) & this will not work the lenoxx, go figure!

Even with all of it's little problems the Lenoxx is a great system for the money, shame about the noisy fan though!

i e-mailed lenoxx for help and all they could suggest was to either move the dvd player to another part of the room! or put a piece of tape over the i r sensor while i watch a video so they dont conflict each other!!!
i had a noisy fan on the ht500 model,so i took it back in exchange for the ht600 model-------still noisy!!!!!!!!!! but as you say its still a good player.

Nice of them to offer you such a technical solution!

Make sure not to use clear tape :D
