I`m after a "32 - 36" widescreen TV (Budget £700)

Anyone know of 16:9/widescreen TV`s within my projected budget?

I`m after one with at least 3 scarts & the usual s-vhs sockets, fastext and looks good when viewing DVD`s!

Anyone know if the Samsung 32" widescreens any good? I can pick one up for £600 or, a Thompson one for £650, any thoughts on these models?

(Don`t know the model numbers though)

If anyone has a Samsung model or, a Thompson tv I wouldn`t mind your opinions on these particular TV`s (or any in general anyone can recomend) as I really want a widescreen pretty soon!

I got a Philips 32PW6305 for about £650 from George Henry Lees (part of John Lewis). It should have been £739 with stand and 5 yr warranty, but they knocked 80 quid off because I had seen it cheaper on the internet (even though that one didn`t come with the warranty).
