LG DVD DA 3620- Advice please!

Meddsy (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 13th January 2004, 21:17

I have a LG DA 3620 DVD player. Very pleased with it but would like to know the best method of connection.
Using an S-Video and 2 phono or 2 phono and monitor out, both to a scart.
As you will probably know this model is not eqipped with a scart.
Also any recommendations as to which lead to buy for quality/Value.
Any help/advice much appreciated.

thanks! :)

Meddsy,

If you have a local Sony centre, and your TV has a S-VHS capable Scart socket,
check out the Techlink(sp?) SVHS to Scart lead that they have. I got one 2 years
ago for £30. Absolutely solid lead can`t fault it. It has the SVHS connector & AV leads
to connect to your DVD player. The scart plug is very "weighty" and the whole thing
has a quality feel to it. :)

Also, I think Ixos do one similar, but do not know the price. :/

Ste.

Hi Ste,
thanks for the reply.
I have thought about that one but i want to plug the scart into my switcher box, along with DVD recorder, video DVD player. Would this still work the same or will it not be SVSHS capable?

Any help would be appreciated!
Or even a way of connecting 3 scarts to my one on my tele?
Preferably with a switch

Cheers,

Steve
