Not an answer, rather a comment. Was there not a lead supplied with the camcorder ?There was with my JVC, albeit several years ago now

The only lead supplied was a USB cable.

1 day for delivery.
VERY pleased with lead.
A mate bought the same lead, packaged differently for £20+ and was delighted!
