Page 1 of SC2000 - IMPORTANT INFO

Using the new short SSW code, SETUP, VOL+ increases the TDVD-000.rom filename in the SSW window. I`m using v2.14. Can anyone else confirm if it does this in other FW versions.
IMPORTANT: If you`ve been using the short code make sure you check the TDVD-000.rom name in the SSW screen matches the name you use when burning the upgrade CD-R or the SC2000 will ignore it.
Nelley - Is there any chance you could encourage the Korean`s to activate the VOL- in this menu to decrease the TDVD-000.rom number as it takes a while to go from 000 to 999 to get back to 000 again.

NiVZ,
I am confused by what you are talking about here.
1. What do you mean by "increases the TDVD-000.rom filename"?
2. What is the SSW window?
3. What is "the new short SSW code" and what does it do?
4. What`s this all about?

RE: SC2000 - IMPORTANT INFO
Yes it increase, but if you put your payer in standby mode, and then check the menu the name of the file is STILL TDVD-000.ROM .
That method to change the filename is not working I think.
I have tested it on the DAEWOO ONE.
Okay, here goes. The System Status Window (SSW) is the blue screen with your SC2000`s internal info.
To access it you normally press OPEN, SETUP, STOP, STEP, MENU.
Once in the SSW you can use VOL+ to change the TDVD-000.rom entry on the screen to TDVD-001, TDVD-002, etc
This is the name of the firmware file the SC2000 expects to find on your Firmware Upgrade CD.
The new short version of accessing the SSW is SETUP, VOL+ but I noticed that every time you press the short code it increases the TDVD-000.rom name by one meaning if you always use TDVD-000.rom you have to keep pressing VOL+ 999 times to get the filename back to TDVD-000.rom.
Hope that clarify`s things.

Thanks, I understand now.
