HELP IN BUYING DVD PLAYER(whats best Pioneer or Sony)

I Looking to buy a DVD player I have about £250 to spend and was wondering what is the best DVD out there within my price range?

I have heard the Pioneer 535 & 530 are good also good reveiws about the Sony 336 and Toshiba SD 100E. What would people recomend?

i bought a philips 711 fully modified for £230. for me a its a great machine and guarentees to play everything. altrernatevly my mate got the model below the philips 701 fully modded for £200. the only difference is there is no optical output and s-vhs. whether you can get these any cheaper im not sure but i got them from a reputable shop in machester.

i bought the pioneer 535 from multiregionmagic.co.uk for £209 inc delivery, cracking deal well chuffed with it.
it has taken every disc i`ve thrown at it no probs
check the player`s stats out either on multi`s site or techtronics.com see for yourself. have fun shopping :-)
