has anyone else noticed the slight pauses on this player and does anyone have an idea on how to fix it or what might cause it

Yes and no. I have noticed the pauses. See my post "YAMADA 2500 and pirates of the carib" in this forum. I bought the player for my brother so I`m disappointed to see this. But, no I do not have a solution :(

Looking at the Amazon reviews now (before Christmas they were all 4/5 stars) there are about five 1 star reviews. Most mention the jump/pause think that we`re talking about. I`d like a fix rather than having to return the player. :-(

:( Mine is being sent back. The pause problem is a pain in the arse, as is the pause at the end of a scene. Remote needs to be next to the player to operate correctly too. Shame really as it started off well.

Thinking of paying more and getting the Toshiba 330 which has now dropped to £69.

Need to speak to my bro about this. Not sure whether he would put up with it or want a new one. Not sure what else comes close. But the pausing annoyed the hello out of me.
