Page 1 of LG RVR CD Rewriter in Dixons

I saw this CD ReWriter in Dixons in Cardiff yesterday, sorry I don`t know the model number, but it`s only £100.

I think it wrote to a CD at x12 (probably x8 though - bad memory) and re wrote at x4.

Anyone know anything about it?

yeh decent writer good transfer rates installed one for my mate it writes at 8 spped

DIXONS are the PITS!

Not only do they break the law by denying you your legal rights (ask anyone who has tried to get a refund for faulty goods), not so long ago they were found guilty of selling secondhand goods as new!

Buy a nice Mitsumi CDReWriter mail order. It wont let you down.

For once i agree with Carrot on all points.
The Dixons group, are the pits.
The Mitsumi is a fine writer.

Have a look at the site www.novatech.co.uk they have a cd writer for even less?

I also saw a Freecom one at Dabs for about £90.

Just to let you guys know I ordered the same CD writer from their sister store PC World online. Same product but plus 50 free cd roms inc delivery = £103.24 Ordered sunday nite arrived wednesday morning. Well pleased, btw you cant get the 50 cd`s in the shop, its web only.
