bush dvd 11k region free error
I have tried this hack posted to me by Paris.
1. Open tray door.
2. Press the SETUP button
3. Press NEXT , PREV , NEXT , PREV
4. You will see "Ver 2" on the screen
5. Select 255 for Region Free
6. Press Setup Key to save settings.
However, It looks like it changes the settings of the player, but I still get an error saying wrong disk when I insert a region 0 disk the disk work fine on another multi region player. Any Ideas anybody?
Thanks

It doesn`t sound like it`s anything to do with the region settings. A region 0 disc should work regardless of what the region is set to.
It may be an incompatibility between the disc and the player, perhaps due to the way the DVD is authored. If the disc in question is a dodgy pirate copy, that`s the most likely explanation.

It is a Quote:
"backup copy" :) DVD that I tested on the player so you are right it could be the disk, but the backup copy does play on another dvd player that is region free and on a computer with powerdvd software.
any ideas?

Yep, it`s a disc with either dodgy dye type or your player doesn`t read that particular type of backup.
It sounded more like a misread than a region error, so to test the player *can* play a backup may require experimentation.
Best results I have seen are Ritek G03 DVD-R`s burned at 1 speed.

Yep it was a cheap and cheerful blank from the local PC shop.
I will try better disk`s like the Ritek, and see if I get better results.
It has had me baffled till now, this has never happened before to me.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers :)
