Anyone recommend a VCR/DVD Combi?

gwilliams2000 (Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 14th March 2004, 12:13

I am looking at purchasing a VCR/DVD Combi and require one that can play (or can be hacked) multiregion DVD`s. I would also like to be able to tape from DVD and record to tape whilst watching DVD. It also needs to be VCD compatible and not too expensive (<GB£150). Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

There`s a similar Daewoo at Dixons on sale at £100. The model number is 3500.
It plays VCDs, and can be made multiregion by using the 2100 hack on this site.
The VCR portion is mono, though. Not sure if thats a consideration.

Cheers
