DVD-ROMS and DTS

i have a samsung SD-606F DVD ROM it is on region 1 and on one web site www.dc-dvd.co.uk it says "Your player must be DTS capable to play DTS discs" what does this mean and do you have it on DVD ROMS????

DTS is a sound format (Digital Theater System, I think). You can still use your DVD drive to watch those movies but don`t expect crystal clear DTS sound. This depends on your soundcard/amplifier.

and if you dont have a DTS souncard / amp, and the disc dont have any other form of audio track on it then dont expect any sound.
(as far as i know there are no disc with only DTS tracks on yet)
