Scan SC2000 Problem

Zaskar (Harmless) posted this on Sunday, 11th March 2001, 21:44

Hi!

I own a Scan SC2000. I purchased this unit recently and have a doubt... when I connect it to my TV the output is brighter than the output from my VCR and from the antena. I have to reduce the brightness on the TV to an acceptable level. Is this normal on this unit, or is this one faulty?

I own a 25" (62 cm) Sony SuperTrinitron...

No this is not a faulty unit its common to the scan player. but how bad it is depends on the firmware number.

Well... I have to turn the brightness to the minimum setting! I really don`t think this is normal. Also if I turn off the DVD player and turn it back on right after, it starts up with a normal brightness setting...
