i`ve got my choice of widescreen tv`s down too 2

Toshiba 28w8db £453.99
Panasonic tx28dk2 £549.98

just wondering is it worth getting the Panasonic for a £100 more also has anyone got either of these and what are there views on them what they are like pic quailty what do R1 dvd play like on these tv`s

i`ll be connecting a Toshiba SD100E and a Yamaha DSPA5 a month after getting the tv.Then when i get the money together i`ll be hooking up a Speaker System not sure which set up yet till i nearly have the money for that looking at about £300 on the speaker set up

Also what is the SD100E like for playing RCE dvd`s

I`ve been looking at both of these TV`s and can honestly say that the Toshiba has the better picture (much better contrast and a sharper looking picture.) Save yourself the cash and get the Tosh.

As for the SD100E, playing RCE depends on the mod chip that`s fitted. Give the people you bought it from a shout.
