Page 1 of Philips 756 vs LG 3350

Does anyone have any experience of both these players?
I`m sick of waiting for my LG to be replaced, and Dabs are offering the 756 for £10 more.
How do they compare?
TIA.
RE: Philips 756 vs LG 3350
Personally I`d wait for the LG, they`re due back in all over anytime in the next week or so.
However, the Philips is a capable player, but would require a £30 "One for all" remote to do the RC6 trick for multi-region.
Don`t think the Philips has an ntsc/pal/auto switch either, so multi standard TV required...
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!
RE: Philips 756 vs LG 3350
Thanks for the advice Jimbo.
On the multi standard TV issue, will a recent Philips (28W6615) do for R1 titles? It states on the Philips` spec sheet under TV standard that playback is `Multistandard (PAL/NTSC)`.
But given that I have both of those requirements, how do they compare on pic quality, and does the 756 have a quiet mechanism - the reason I returned my LG was it`s drive noise.

RE: Philips 756 vs LG 3350
6615 series should be ok for Region 1 playback, but thats the first time I`ve heard of someone complaining about an LG drive unit!!
They are almost silent!
And I can`t say I`ve heard any complaints about Philips drive noises either.
AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!
THE PHILIPS IS THE ONE TO GO FOR IT WILL DEFINATELY BEAT THE LG INTO SUBMISSION.
IT HAS EXCELLENT PICTURE AND AUDIO CAPABILITIES.......
AND AS FOR AIWA OFFICIALLY ROCKING - I SAY THINK AGAIN AND QUICK!!!!
Nobody else is raving about the philips so you are in the minority old chap.
