Page 1 of help with 8mm camcorder tapes

Hi Guyz
I`m after a cheap camcorder to play and transfer my 8mm tapes to pc & vhs.
my camcorder - a 10 year old canon - had just died, and i`m left withs loads of memories sitting on tapes.
i did hear of a vcr that had both 8mm and vhs, but can`t remember the make.
can u guyz help

Aint seen one about for years, but try looking for Sony, Sanyo or I think, LG (might have been Goldstar at the time)

Either that, or get a cheap 8MM camcorder or get them transferred by one of them companies.

There was, JVC and Panasonic made them, maybe others, have installed a few but they were big money. Not sure if they are still available though, they do a VCR with a built in DV tape player if you are getting a new camera, think this is expensive too though.
