Page 1 of Toshiba SD-240E, SD-340-E and multi regions

I wanted to buy a resonable budget player to use as my Wharfedale M5 is starting to get choosy about what disks it plays. I was tempted by the Toshibas as they have good reviews. My main concern was regional disks, I have region 1,2 & even a region 5 disk. There are no handset hacks for any Toshiba players on the site? Can these be handset unlocked and if not is another method possible? :/

i have a toshiba 330 got it from unbeatable and it was multi region straight out of the box, excellent player i highly recommend.

richer sounds have a good selection of MR toshibas too.
