As the heading asks.....................anyone know of any real bargains in these at the mo`. We`re going to get one for the in-laws this Xmas, so preferably one with the knobs wired up to the mains!! (only joking!!). Roger.

I`ve got the ferguson fdt 500 (£35 from Currys)....I`ts been a good `un & never freezes! ;)

Thanks Mark, I was looking at the Ferguson yesterday, but I thought it looked a bit flimsy, however it`s very small and from what you say, does the job. Might take a second look at it this week-end. Cheers,

Got a Echostar T-101 from Woolworths £39.99 ..seems very good and its got a 8 day TV electronic tv guide which shows you what programs are on for the next week and it has 2 scart sockets
