Page 1 of panasonic 350 unlocking ratings help me please

can anyone help me please ive lost the manual for my panasonic a350 dvd and the kids have been playing with the remote and locked the machine on ratings 1 when i try to change it it asks me for a 4 digit password
help help help
to save the lives of the kids how can i unlock the machine to an open rating without the 4 digit password
anyone out there know

I have a REC dvd which is a clone and have had a look at the manual and there is no code mentioned to override the code.But it does say if you want to you can Temporary unlock by doing this

press setup in the stop mode

select ratings

select item 4 temporary unlock

press select to continue

press 0 to exit

press return

press return when the setup screen is displayed

There is a warning not to forget the code but no override.Some mobile phones use 0000 or 9999 or1234 worth a try if still stuck.
