Question for E55 owners - re: time search

Brooktop (Competent) posted this on Monday, 29th November 2004, 10:36

Tried to find the answer to this in the manual, but can`t seem to.

Is there a way of a) putting in a position memory on a disk for resuming later (my Panasonic DVD S27 player can)
b) jumping to a specific time (time search facility).

These are common features on many other machines, so would be surprised if it can`t do one or both - I just can`t seem to figure it out.

If using a DVD-RAM Disc, you can create a Chapter at the time or times you want to return to later. Using Chapters allows you do to some neat stuff. This does not work on DVD-R media, since the Chapters are pre-set.

Be careful fooling with Chapters. I accidently erased a program I wanted to keep by getting a little too creative....lol!..... :D

Thought that was the only solution - at least I`m not cracking up! I hate ploughing through instruction manuals.
