Page 1 of Forced Subtitles

Hi, I don`t know if Code1 Dvd`s have forced subtitles too, but some Code2 Dvd`s like scary movie. Are there some hacks or something to turn them off? I have a Samsung 511 DVD player.

I own a mico a980 and have the same problem r1 and r2 dvd`s olways start with subtitles on. I tried setting the subtitle language to 0 in the setup menu this worked for a verry small number of dvd`s to few to remember which ones.
