Help please re Limit DVD8080a DVD Player

My sister has this player, today she turned on the DVD player & the word "NO" appeared on the display then the DVD player turned itself off & cant be turned back on. I have taken it apart & there is no disc in it, no faulty contacts to the eye & the internal fuse is fine

Any ideas whats happened & how to fix
