Page 1 of lvw5005 firmware and clock

i have just been on the lite-on site and the firmware download is not appearing when the 5005link is clicked. the instructions appear but no <file> to downlaod - help!?

also _____ I am able to change the date and time in <setup>. The new time is displayed on the machine` clock and the two dots [:] between the `hr` and `min` flash. However, the time does not change ie remains on the initial set time. Therefore, I am not able to use the `timer record` function. ---any ideas before i return it ??

Have you been hitting the enter button on the remote after setting the new time?
If you just change the time and then exit out of setup without hitting the enter button it will not change.

Could you provide a link to the page where you are trying to download the firmware?

yes i have tried the <enter> button---still no success

eventually found the fileupdate: LNFB1000.E30.0102.324x.rar but can`t unzip it - any help, winzip 9.0 does not work

downloaded ok ... but clock still does NOT change time

any more ideas out there ??

down load ok
lvw accepted disk and ran the program
clock can be changed in <setup> but having exited [properly] it will not subsequently change
any suggestions ??
