Aerial is easy.....DVDR to Video to TV.

What are you wanting to do? How many scarts on yer TV?

If yer TV has two scart sockets, one from DVDR to TV, one from VCR to TV.

Connect from DVDR to TV via scart socket

You can watch and record on the VCR through the normal aerial connections. Just tune-in a spare channel number.

Connect the VCR to the second (if available - most now have two) scart on the DVDR and you should be able to copy video tapes onto disc (subject of course to copyright approval/protection). I`ve copied all our old home video tapes onto disc.

Phillips usually say the DVDR has to be connected to the TV because of copy protection circuitary - so may be better to connect RF to video, then DVDR, and then to TV.

Hi

Thanks for all the help so far but i still have a problem.

I have connected system as follows.

Antenna from wall to DVDR in then DVDR out to VCR in and VCR out to TV

Scart from DVDR to TV

The second scart from DVDR to VCR

I have the vcr tuned to 8 on tv and works fine
I have the DVDR working on the AV 1 RGB channel and all the tv channels are there but no sound but i have sound if i play a DVD

Any ideas.

The DVDR is a Matsui DVDR100 DVD+R/RW Recorder
