How to connect dvdr & vcr to tv
Can any one help
i did to know how to connect a DVD recorder and a vcr to a tv.
I.e where do the scart leads go and what happens to the aerial in & out on the dvdr & vcr
RE: How to connect dvdr & vcr to tv
Aerial is easy.....DVDR to Video to TV.
What are you wanting to do? How many scarts on yer TV?
If yer TV has two scart sockets, one from DVDR to TV, one from VCR to TV.

Hi
There is 1 scart on tv
What i want to do is be able to record from the tv onto vcr and dvdr plus still be able to watch video and dvd

Connect from DVDR to TV via scart socket
You can watch and record on the VCR through the normal aerial connections. Just tune-in a spare channel number.
Connect the VCR to the second (if available - most now have two) scart on the DVDR and you should be able to copy video tapes onto disc (subject of course to copyright approval/protection). I`ve copied all our old home video tapes onto disc.

Phillips usually say the DVDR has to be connected to the TV because of copy protection circuitary - so may be better to connect RF to video, then DVDR, and then to TV.
