:( Help please once again. I was given this MP3 player for Xmas and my ME Edition of Windows will not recognize this device.I even tried downloading Drives from the PACKARD bELL aUDIO key disc for drivers and still no luck. Its works perfectly on Windows XP. Is there any solution to this problem or do I have to upgrade to XP. It say on the packaging its compatable with Windows ME. Thanks.

DISCONNECT the audio key from the PC.
UNINSTALL (not delete, uninstall through add.remove programs or any uninstall parts of the program itself) ALL the software that`s been installed on the unit for the Audio key.

Restart the computer.
Now, keep the audio key disconnected, and install the software.
If the software asks, plug the audiokey in, if it doesn`t, allow the software install to finish and then restart the PC.
Now plug in the audio key and the drivers should be found with an automatic search.

If the unit was plugged in when the software installed, or if the software is installed without the original being uninstalled the PC will report the device as installed ok, but it won`t work.

Again, Disconnect the audio key, then UNINSTALL the software first!
