Best Picture/Sound for budget DVD?

Nick Shepherd (Elite) posted this on Monday, 10th January 2005, 15:34

I would like to know which budget DVD player (say sub £200) has the best picture and sound? I`m less concerned with conectivity or format playback (just DVD-R at worst I guess) and mainley after the best picture and aound.

So many magazine reviews give good scores for all round ability so im a bit lost!

Any ideas???

Thanks

Toshiba SD340E.

Does Progressive PAL/NTSC

Has Composite, Component out. 2 digi outs. Mind boggling picture quality.

About £79?

Got my one free with my 32ZP48.

Rob.
