Pioneer dv535 or Philips dvd711

Urgent help needed as there isn`t much comparison between the two.
Which one of these two is better with audio music CDs? How easy is it to upgrade the Pioneer dv535 firmware to guard against future changes??
And which is better at reading discs??? as I have lots of vcds and grey DVDs from overseas.
Most grateful for any help and advice provided. Thanks.

Try new Philips DVD762 (new product just now) or DVD957 silver or latest new DVD958 cystral green that can play any dvd disc - films,music,audio and see on http://www.hed.co.uk for the DVD958-multi and email them if you cant find what you like to get one. I own Philips DVD958-multi region.
