I`ve got the JVC AV-28T4BKC and it`s great!

The `T` designation means it is normal nicam stereo.
The `R` designation means it`s fitted with Dolby pro-logic II surround sound and umpteen extra speakers (including a subwoofer).
I have the `R`.
It`s worth the extra money over the `T`,unless you have your own surround sound already that is.
No difference in picture,which is excellent on both models.
I tell you what impresses me most,and that`s the build quality.
Even when cranking the volume right up there is zero casing buzz or rattle.

Yeah, I`ve got a separate surround system, so need need for anything built in. I`ve also got the freebie stand floating around if anyone wants it!
